buythe usb to usb cable and it will have the software with it, i belive Trust make one.

Networking software for USB-USB cables I would imagine is proprietary to the cable, therefore perhaps but it's no use unless you buy the wire anyway.

With the right software, yes.

Ethernet and a crossover is preferable though.

Ethernet and a switch is best option as then you can add more stuff.

crossover, which you'll need for peer to peer is wired like this

Anyone got any ideas on how to do this?

I have all the necessary cables etc etc but they wont connect, even after using the ever-so-helpful Windows wizard.
