Yeah dont change the resolution that way. Go into your graphics card control panel and there will be a bigger list of resolutions or the option to create your own as dave said :thumbs:

By the diagram I'm assuming the TV is monitor 2. I assume you're selecting that before trying to set the resolution?

Hmmm its not letting me select that resolution?

I guess if it dosnt give it to me as an option there is no way of selecting it?

Just wondering what resolution I should have on my computer for best displaying onto my TV...

this is what I have it set as at the moment, I belive its just using the standard screen size that my laptop is using and is swapping between my laptop screen and my TV...



Is there a better way of doing it? For example have it set as twin screen so I could be working on my laptop but have a film playing on the TV?
