Its a wankers phone, for the image over content brigade. A bit like the prada!

You an spot them a mile off, mention the iphone and they comment about it being "touchscreen" almost like its some revoloutionary thing that hasnt been around since the good ole newtons of like 1985  And the fact that anything HTC/Nokia/Sony ericsson will make will be better.

Plus i dont even think it looks that nice?!

Im sure it wont be a bad phone, just better thnigs out there IMO

Just think...all this is down to basically a good design team. They've come on well since the late 90's with their 'aesthetically pleasing' computers, with clear panels and no corners.

I was seriously thinking about one but expected it to be a bigger 16GB version and have 3G. Without these I really don't think its worth it.

Give it a few generations and I think they will have one awesome product but they need to get more stuff in there like GPS - navigation etc

I'll stick with my plans on getting a SE W960i
So much better than a iPhone by the looks of it.

O2 is the first network provider to get the iPhone outside of the US, so what's new on the UK's very own iPhone? Well, it turns out, not much. In simple terms, it's almost identical to the US version, albeit running the 1.1.1 firmware version features of which we've already seen on the iPod Touch. You'll notice the iTunes WiFi Store icon, and an O2-UK network symbol up top. If you look carefully, you'll see that the E logo for EDGE is missing: we guess that 30% network coverage on O2 don't quite stretch inside the Apple Store. Along with the 1.1.1 firmware comes double tap quick access to currently playing songs, options for closed captioning on videos, and rather oddly, user selection options for carrier (we thought this was an exclusive?) There's also support for European language keyboards, and an option for turning off EDGE roaming. All in all, a rather predictable update for the UK.

turns up in November 9th I think.
