Do what drax said and move it to a different PCI slot, it may also be that you have some fluf or dust in the PCI slot if its not being detected. | |

My first creative sound card was fucked and wouldnt boot past windows loading screen. And when it did it wouldnt detect it. | |

go into the bios and disable the onboard soundcard like i said at the start. | |

u dont need to afaik. my creative soundcard just installs using the provided disc and it uses it straight away. not being funny but you have plugged your speaker jacks into the card and not the motherboard havent you? | |
