If you just want to change the cooling then get a speed adjustable fan and keep it on the loest setting. Should easily give enough cooling to handle the workload in a media centre, and if you get a decent one it will be virtually silent too. | |

I had the case off it earlier to make sure there was nothing in there which would cause this. | |

Right, i want to build a new media centre because the machine i use at the moment is too loud. Every time the smallest bit of processing is done, the fan kicks in and is VERY loud. |
