It says at the beginning that it's in surround sound where available. Though I guess that doesn't actually mean it is broadcasted in it. Never mind... | |

yeah and im pretty sure the only channels that actually use 5.1 are the HD channels, just like virgin. | |

If its just a normal sky box, best thing to do is just use the red and white audio cables and link it up to your av receiver. Only sky + and hd have real 5.1 audio out. I think thats right ? thats what im doing and works fine for me. | |

you should have a cable connecting the audio output of the sky box to an input on the surround system | |

I've just bought a Samsung surround sound system, and have tried linking it all up but cannot get the 5.1 to work with the Sky box. It works fine with the DVD player and Radio but not Sky or TV. |
