The new Macs will also run Windows, for any bits you can't 'buy' for OSX. Using Parallels you can have the Windows programs inside OSX as if they were OSX apps.

ah cool. just done more research and notice a new os is coming out in october. http://www.apple.com/macosx/leopard/

i'll wait for that then i'll buy :)

yep, all "special" mac software seems to work fine ;) you can also connect a mac up via USB/Firewire, drag software between the two and it'll install :thumbs:

Also, see if you find a student and get them to order it on your behalf, as you can save 10% or so. :thumbs:

well i typed photoshop and mac into a special search engine and enough products popped up.

looks like it would be easy enough to er purchase.

looking at buying the new imac. but my only concern is programs like photoshop, flash etc... on the pc you can "get hold of" said programs. But i don't know about the macs. would it be a case of i'd have to spend £5k getting the programs i want? if so.... fuck that
