i dont get it, surely you wud want to whatch the hd movies on your tv anyway what does the router have to do with that.
or do you meen you plan to play the hd dvds on the laptop and stream to a pc that is connected to your tv?
i doubt the new laptop will have a hd-dvd drive unless its quite a high spec.

Theres no reason for a router not to be compatible with vista :boggle:
What are you going to be streaming it from and to?

It can stream hd movies, not sure if it worth getting this as my new laptop has an hdmi port and i am guessing it can play hd dvd,s or would i be better getting a cheaper wireless router and just plugging the laptop directly into my tv...... I think that is quite a fast router anyway and as i have vista, not that many are compatible at the mo....
any advice on wireless roters be handy...
