close but that is home basic which you dont get anything in as you see in the chart below. the home premium goes for over 100 notes on that site!!!! got excited then LMAO | |

Microsoft charge alot for support, so why cant they charge extra for things a buisness would benefit from to make the extra cash. | |

i have a 2.8 ghz amd processor with xp on at the moment, 2 gb ddr2 ram with 500 gig hard drive. Also have a dvd writer drive :-) built it myself but dont know much on the software side of things. | |

All versions of vista, except maybe the lowest, but haven't tested it, won't install unless a dvd drive, internal or external, is connected. | |

Give us some details of your system, it might not even be worth while you buying such a new operating system. It will work fine with 32bit but you wont benefit as much as a 64 bit obviously. | |

Only difference between the two would be networking and probably bigger driver support for hardware. | |

when you buy a copy of windows vista for instance vista home premium, do you get the windows sticker with the product key on to put on the side????? |
