Apart from VNC, i've used RemotelyAnywhere which wasn't that good to be honest and Remote Administrator, which isn't free, but can be had from the "special" shop, it's pretty damn small and a piece of piss to use and would highly recommend it (though it isn't cross-platform, ie: windows only).

We only use the free version. You can control the other computer and access its files on your computer though.

Apart from Windows Remote Desktop Connection or any version of VNC.

Does anyone know anything else which is free and will enable me to see the desktop of another computer on the LAN.

Thanks
