I was playing the wii at my gfs house at the weekend. Her bro has got one and keep spouting on before we played how he was pro in this, pro in that.

Needless to say he didnt win 1 game all day against me :)

Its brilliant. Tennis and bowling are amazing. Only the boxing lets it down which isn't very responsive as said.

Red Steel is pretty good. Strategy/RPG/FPS.

Resident Evil is out next month and Mario the month after.

Tennis was fun too, my mate was pissed off as he didnt know how to do the Power Serve. I wouldnt let on how to do it, I kept saying it was flukey

you don't have to hold the controller like a baseball bat, just have the controller at roughly shoulder height and flick your wrist.

same as bowling, you can be seated and still play - once you get the hang of flicking your wrist you can get strike after strike

So in essence took out the fun part of playing the wii then

Playing the normal way i can get 2 half strikes away from a perfect game in bowling :!

no its the sensible way to play - why pull muscles and have sore arms for no reason? :look:

It's more fun playing it like the real thing I think.

I wasnt bad at baseball. Beat my mate 5-1 at one point. Had 2 out there already then hit a home run

Nah the boxing isn't the best, maybe to do with the fact your more of a forward motion towards the bar rather than sideways type of thing?

Trick with the baseball is to hold it exactly how you would a baseball bat behind your head with the same grip on the remote ;)

I couldnt get to grips with the boxing! Seemed a bit random and unresponsive, but maybe I wasn't playing it right!

I had my first play on a Wii too, Sunday morning after a night on the town.

Boxing winner stays on

Muchos fun!

My mate only had Wii Sports but it was a good crack! Baseball and tennis were the most fun for me! Although baseball was pretty hard.

My arms are killing me now
