i believe this is the problem
Msiexec.exe
is this due to the disc? if its the disk i will sort it

tired it althoug its a brand new disc lol, so nothing to do with the computer its the disc or its it my comp?

sounds like the cd may be dirty or scratched. take it out and give it a clean with your jumper, t shirt or sommat

Just installing a game and get through choose language etc, get to the screen
'preparing to install'

and then get an error message saying

'the system cannot read from the specified drive'

whats up with it and how do i fix it cheers
