i always make new playlists and name them the album name so its not one big library

Yea it is excellent, some real classics on there, that is why it is so frustrating i cant get it to play all the way through!!

You can tell iTunes it's a compilation album, but you'd still have to select the album on it's own in the music browser.
I think what you want to do though is:
If you select all the tracks at the same time, and right click and goto Edit Info (or similar, I forget) it'll let you set the artist for all of the tracks in one go.

As above, just added floorfiller anthems to itunes, however because its is lots of different artists it just splits it up and you cant leave it playing as one album. Is it possible to rename the artist for each track so that itunes will see it as 1 album?
