We had Sky+ and Multiroom and Sky didn't bother when the Sky+ (which was the 2nd box) got unplugged. For a basic account, as said, it only needs to be connected for the first 12 months anyway. | |

Ours has never been plugged in, the only time it was was when the bloke intalled it right at the start. | |

Soon as the cable has been out of my sky box for a month or so they are onto me telling me to plug it back in | |

It's breaking the sky contract if you don't have it plugged in afaik but I doubt they'd notice. | |
