we have 50 toshibas at work, never had a major problem?!
HP are also very good

What ever you do, don't get a Toshiba. Every single person that I know has had one, it has broken.

Can anyone recommend any good laptops for under £500 as mine is getting a bit old and slow and recelntly showing this message on a blue screen :o
I dont really want to spend anymore than 500 because ive just bought a car and wanted so save it for that.
anyone no any good ones then for like memory, speed, and whatever else...
