Comet arent in the same Company.

Currys and PC World are part of the DSG (Dixons service group) Comet are a different company

If you just want a good button pushing computer that should be able to play a game or two but be a good word processor, then dell are kings for these.

They are in the industry for it, If you want to build a gaming rig, then it really is a custom jobby you have to do because only you know what you are trying to acheive from it.

In your situation id go with dell

dell have some serious good offers on home kit at the mo, evn chucking in free 22" flat panel upgrades aswell even for pcs under 600 quid

right i start off buy saying bit basic i know, but its only for home use as my previous one blew up due to old age :boggle; and i have been shopping around and found this one in my price range, it wil only be used for e-mail,internet browsing, work and home use maybe upload a game now and then, can people just gve me their thoughts. http://www.comet.co.uk/cometbrowse/category.do?categoryId=567
