i dont get why you have to pay to get rid of ads

i was all for the site at the start, knew 2 of the mods and it was really easy going, now its become anally retentive. Getting warnings for telling someone to stop talking crap when they tried to say standard calibra body panels were fibreglass. Only reason i keep registering is to wind up lee.

most websites are like that,

the problem is, these peoples motives for starting a forum are partly or mainly due to the fact they fancy being admin and having control over people.

Youl notice they have no interest in customising the forum using there own learnt coding, or even trying to learn, most will be just a bog standard template or a premade template with no features that make the site unique.

I like to think that im gaining experience of writing features for the site myself and i gain satisfaction from this, not knowing i have power over people and banning and locking threads.

Or he may be lucky and it does it straightaway...

Wonder how long the lease is on his IP address?

No not really...BUT even when I do I often receive the same IP as I was assigned previously..

As I said it does change...just not every time you disconnect from the internet...

lol @ you trying to get round the banning on allcorsa.

is it blocked by ip address as well as username?

try deleting cookies, if that doesnt work then do you have a static ip with your isp? if not just disconnect your modem/router internet connection, leave it ten mins or so then reconnect and it should pick up a new ip

[Edited on 16-03-2007 by Steve]

Not always...my IP is dynamic and rarely changes that frequently...mostly around every 3 months...
