I had to drill new holes in the wall mount I got from Comet, as the existing holes wouldnt match up to the holes on the TV. Dunno what kind of screws I used though.

I bought a £20 quid wall mount kit and welded a small sheet of metal to it.Then drilled holes on the sheet to line up with the holes on back of the tv. Works perfect and cheap.

i bought a universal wall mount from ebay and it fits for 32" r74

When I asked about wall mounting my R74 (26") They told me I would have to ring Samsung direct for the screws to be sent as no universal fittings will fit!

On the Samsung the display is meant to be quite close to the rear so have to be careful on the length of screws used.

They might have been feeding me a load of bull shit but thats what i got informed when after wall mounting kit.

okay attempted putting my tv on the wall today, got the wall mount up fine. however none of the screws the mount was supplied with fitting the tv. the samsung screws that came for the stand fit, but are not long enough. i went to my hardware store and bought loads of different ones, again, none fit!

i left work early yesterday with the boys wall mounting the same tv (26" model btw) and i just phoned them up... and they gave up too as they couldnt get it on!

pissed off now cause im slow close. if youve done it, what screws / bolts did you use!?
