Was thinking about going with them when i was told they are now ADSL along with cable now as i couldnt get cable where my house is as its a new house.

will look into this i think as tiscali is getting rather pish the past few days :(

well virgin do ADSL which i believe is up to 8mb and they also offer cable internet with different packages, 10MB currently being the top package @ £35 a month

Like said though, apparently they are going to upgrade 10mb users to 20mb and the rest of the package will follow an upgrade (ie: 4 to 10 i believe).

And yea they have been testing 50mb, they have also been testing 100mb. On top of that they have also been doing trials of traffic/download shapping (in swansea i believe) at peak times, (with the current 10mb) giving you 5MB during the day and then full access to the 10mb at off peak hours....:(

I have virgin and excellent unlimited service I'm on 4MB

It will be subject to a fair use policy...but thats basically as long as your not 24/7 constantly downloading...so for normal use you should be ok...

I use them mate, as does a friend of mine.

Spot on, never have any bother at all with them.

I'm looking to change ISP and they're offering what I think is quite a good deal of up to 8MB connection, unlimited downloads and free telephone calls for £19.99.

Just wondering if they're any good....
