he could just have the software installed (as i dont think nokia have yet released a phone with inbuilt GPS reciever), but usually you need an external bluetooth GPS reciever

I would just buy a stand alone system. They are getting cheap enough.

some phones alredy have the softare built into it not sure if you can buy it seperate

Just found that!! Needs a Blutooth GPRS receiver apparently in order for it to work :boggle:

My mate has a Nokia (unsure of model) which is about a year old I think, he runs sat nav software on it without the need of any receiver or anything. Thing is, he brought the phone with the software already on it so can't help me in telling me where to get it from or nowt :(

Evening.

Have just got myself a Sony Ericsson W850i - Have been looking @ getting a Sat Nav system for a while too.

A mate has some Tom Tom ( I think ) Software on a Nokia phone - I'm now thinking of getting some software for my phone?

I've had a quick look using google, but come up with nothing!!

So can anybody suggest anything? Also, maybe explain a bit how it works - it doesnt have to connect to the net or nowt to work does it??
