Yes they may all currently be on phones but they wont for much longer...

Also the new deals include additional functionality like uploading of photos etc.

u have to remember that vodafone often simply dont bother competing on certain fronts... any that wont make us money we jus use our economies of scale to keep out of them and let the other networks pick them up... its generally why young people dont favour vf whereas businesses and older people often do... its because the other networks spend money maintaing a customer base that doesnt spend in a way we'd want them to (even though many young people spend £££)

O2 has by far the largest customer base yet its ARPUs are very low and its profit non-existant... now Im not saying we make bucketloads in the UK cos we dont but we try to keep to markets that make money ie. small customer numbers yet high profits :) I think they are realising quite how much young people spend though and are starting to fight back... internet on your mobile should work particularly well :)

yeah i obv was confusing it with enterprise... like i say, we discourage people from personally owning blackberries... the tariff bit was the free add-ons we offer...

No offence robbo, but vodafone certainly isn't cheaper...12 quid just for the blackberry add-on and the only reference to usage with the plan is 6MB, which is about 1994MB short of what T-mobile can offer me.
Plus to go through as a business/enterprise plan you usually have to register it to a PLC or LTD company address - which obviously i dont have :P

Plus all network do the rebate, except O2 - my roommate signed up and got himself and his friend 25 quid credit added (T-mobile).

And they can't change prices once you're in a contract (as it isn't what you agreed upon signing).

Oh and according to the T&C, for the first 6months you have to stick to your current price plan only allowed to upgrade to a higher price plan. After than you can switch plans every month as you wish.

So far on vodafone it's £39.77 a month for a blackberry + blackberry internet solution, 350 Texts and 300mins + 6MB usage. That can be had on T-mobile for 30 quid + 2GB usage :|

Mobile Internet exists as the mobile companies wish... give it a few months and you'll see the next gen... not dissimilar to X-Series but much better and much cheaper ;) And no its connected to 3G... also we have the 2nd best 3G network behind 3 :|

Mobile internet has been about for ages :| Speed wise 3 have had people connecting at speeds of 14mbps!

Some new stuff has just been introduced to the 3 network called X-series. You can use Skype to call around the world for free, using your phone as the internet connection. You can also grab files from your home PC which potentially means you have xxxGB of music/video/pictures on your phone without a memory card :cool: You can tune into your home TV too & watch sky or porn :!

Its to do with the handsets not being able to load certain types of web pages. These fancy flash pages/jave apps are OK on some PDA/smartphones but not on normal handsets. Voda do the same handsets as the other networks?

And you'd have to be in an area with 3G coverage? Look at the Voda 3G map, its all out at sea :| Handy if you have a boat though I suppose :lol:

Blackberry wise though Voda are very good (y) Thats the bit of the market they definately control (y)

Flext prices are about to go uo and aren't as flexible as they look!

If you were to look at our tariffs you'd see that you can add extra minutes and texts for free anyhoo... and yes they let you change the mix when you want

we are by far cheaoest for blackberries etc. so that sounds strange... that said cheapest if you go through enterprise not personally... very costly to us so we don't encourage private blackberry use :S

look at other networks like O2, or T-mobiles Flex tarrifs (which are pretty damn cheap) :thumbs:

I've tried to get a blackberry on vodafone, but they were going to rip me a new one at 50 quid a month :| whereas T-mobile, better tarrif + 2GB monthly traffic (o2 and the likes only seem to be about 100mb) was £26 a month....

robbo, if you can get me a tarrif like T-mobile where i can change my texts vs mins whenever i want and is as cheap then im all ears ;)

oh and T-mobile do the 25 quid rebate as well ;)

I need to get a contract phone i have spent £45 on top ups for my p+g phone in the last month.
