	It'll be in your BIOS settings - will bet my house on it - it's not a Windows user password - as Dave has stated about 3 times already.....

	delete any other users on your PC, and set a blank password to your account

	have you recently installed .net network off windows update, uninstall it of so, that happened with mine.

	every time I switch on my laptop it asks me for a password to log on to windows. how do I remove this password request? p.s its not the user account password, just a password to open windows.
