	Muchos gracias to John... went to see laptop support earlier, they installed the new driver and hey presto... nipple disabled :D :D

	Control panel, mouse options bit, there is an option to only have the pad on and not the stick.

	So you can choose which one to use. Same as your screen brightness level, will be in bios and/or quickset. Most components will be able to be switched on or off via bios and/or quickset.
