Most stuff can be repaired using quickpar, providing you use a decent newshost such as Giganews.

Thanks for the replys. Are there any other sites like newzbin.com? Its easy to use but most of the film files have parts missing

If you use Outlook for newsgroups, the files are attached to each thread the same way as they are with the emails.

There are probably dedicated newsgroup readers out there which make it easy to download the files as well, but Outlook is free and simple enough to use!
