I just got the N73 X-Series on 3. Seems pretty good so far.

yeah thats a software fault thast common on symbian phones, just format the phone by pressing *#7370# (but you will loose anything on the phone memory (so copy everything to memory card or your numbers to the sim card and then do it , it will fix the sms fault and the phone should be quicker all round.

Which is why his mates may have a software bug...

That could be one of the softare faults, might need updating

The X-series stuff is really good, did you get one of the X-series add ons?

allot of phone have bad battery lifes now, my N73 last 2 days max, phones these days have to do a hell of a lot more than just be a phone with a grey scale screen!

I have one.

Good phones, but have a tendancy to freeze and restart themselves, and as said the battery life is terrible
I'd advice you to update the firmware as soon as you get it as you might lose some info if you do it later (can be done via data cable and Nokia Suite), updating firmware seems to of made mine faster than it was before.

Got one

Good points: Screen, voice activation, keypad, video calling, good call quality, looks great

Bad points: Hangs, freezes, slow and battery life is nothing short of shocking. (charge it everyday)

But i love it :)
