yeah, was a vga lead, what coley said. Not used it personally but someone was telling me he went from the component lead to vga and all the edges 'sharpened up'. He seemed really excited about it tbh.

the VGA lead only does the picture, you can still use your optical lead Jamie.

I'd stick with component mate.

I have my Xbox going straight into my surround sound, the Componant lead supplied with the Xbox has an Optical Sound output. I dont want to lose this.

Ill stick with what I have I think :)

It plugs in Via USB port in the back or front of the 360.

--Dave--

I have a question.

Do you know if the 360 HD DVD player comes with its own leads? Or does it plug into the 360? I have a feeling it's the latter but not quite sure.

Jamie Walby

As far as I know MS haven't produced an HDMI lead yet.

There's a VGA lead though and some people say they prefer the picture from that over the component lead. I don't.

Jamie Walby

The one that came with the Xbox. Though Corb was saying that someone told him theres another lead which makes graphics better......AV-HDMI IIRC though i have no idea as you can probably tel

Jamie Walby

.....tell me again the name of the lead you were talking about last night over live?

Is it worth me getting one for my Xbox.

I know FAO threads arent allowed but I thought this might be of interest to others.
