Where from? I just ordered one from play.com as no where else had them in stock and it said dispatched withint 24hours, this was tuesday night and its still not been dispatched now. So paying 639 to get it asap hasnt worked, tried to cancel they said i couldnt they have to send it out first... and then collect it again(even though its not left their warehouse). So would be interested in seeing if its in stock for 579!

I have the Samsung and have no problem with it.
Though I have heard the Bravia is meant to be the best LCD :)

wouldn't trust either of comet or richersounds to show a decent picture, usually they have once source running 4 screens or so
Though curious to know why you think sony should sound better? there audio gear isn't exactly top notch

Samsung and sony lcd's are jointly developed.
They use the same panels, just different electronics.
Samsung make 75% of the planets LCD components. Sony, Pioneer, Samsung, its all the same underneath :lol:

The original sony lcd's were crap.
IMO though the last couple of generations are far superior to the competition.
I'm not up to date on the very latest ones though.

you think John?
Saw the sony and samsung on the gadget show and the sony was awful compared to the amsung.
Sony are nothing compared to what they used to be.

I currently have this
http://www.comet.co.uk/cometbrowse/product.do?sku=320528#
Paid £822, can give it back though for full refund........
I recently went into richer sounds were they had loads of TVS on display, ours was the shittest quality out of all of them
shall i upgrade to this?
http://www.comet.co.uk/cometbrowse/product.do?sku=355941&tab=specification#spec
The picture quality on the sony looks better like, plus SHOULD sound better than the samsung.......
Opinions?! can get the Sony for same price as samsung (£822)
