Sky HD is fun because you can see all the JPG image noise in the icons on the TV guide. Oh, and the picture is quite nice too :)

theres not that many HD channels available yet are there by the looks of things.

I think i like the look of Sky+.

Does anyone know for any good package deals atm?

It costs about 50 quid a month to get sky hd.

You need the full package to get get sky+ free then another tenner on top for hd.

If you would watch the hd channels its probably worth it.

Thoughts and opinions?
I have been given a tidy wage increase this year, and was condsidering getting this for the new house. i know nothing at all about this, and ideally would likely sky in the the Lounge and main bedroom.

My parents have Sky+ and its nice, although im not sure about SkyHD.
I have a nice 42" HDTV.
I wouldnt be interested in sports packages, just the normal packages + movies.
