yup buy 1080 if your gonna buy one now, cause most new sets are being updated to that spec (i work in electrical retail lol) | |

if you can afford it Steve get an LCD that supports a 1080p HD resolution. You won't need to buy another TV for ages. | |

my mum and dad got a 32" LG LCD not long ago. HD content on it is amazing, not too sure on SD pictures though. | |

A lot of people will argue that LCDs are better than Plasma. I'd agree to an extent. Plasmas will soon be phased out anyway. Black reproduction on LCDs is getting a lot better, as are the contrast/brightness issues. The Sony Bravia offers really good picture quality and all the connections you need to connect things like HD DVD, 360 etc... | |

i'd have LCD over plasma, look at toshiba, samsung and sony mate, play.com have some good deals | |
