winavi wont sync sound if its out in the avi file itself

if the source itself is out, you need to adjust sound and video fps manually to get it correct.

vdub mod is good for this.

ac3 machine is good for adjusting sound fps but i normally stick to altering the video in vdub

This is the reason i started to use WinAVI convertor to convert the files, the audio was seriously lagged with Nero.

Now i use WinAVI convertor to convert, then TmpegENC to create menu's etc, and Nero to burn them.

Happens with some files of Lost, I found it corrected itself after a while. It wasnt on every episode either if that helps.

okay downloaded lost and run em on PC, perfect. i converted them to dvd via nero, and starting playing them on my TV. at first it was perfect too, but after the first ad brake, it came back to lip sync. which continued throughout the whole programme :( any way to get round this?

strange that the first part of the show was alright
