I kicked off with them because they were charging me more for 500kbps than they were charging for 1mb. They said they left it up to their customers to upgrade :|

I upgrdaded, paying less and now have 2mb. Looking to change.

I just feel sorry for all the people who may have been in the same boat as me but had no way of knowing they were being ripped off for something they weren't even getting

interesting
grandad is using tiscali, told him for ages to change it but might do some speed tests for him see if he is in the same situation

Zen Internet, 2Mbps unlimited (no fair usage policy, no caps, not available to order any more, all new connections go on MaxDSL).

Oh, and I have access to the central pipes, since I work for them (which is why I haven't included the price, as it wouldn't be a valid comparison)!

forgot to mention speeds. Largely depends on where you're downloading from obviously, but highest is around 700kb/s averaging 600kb/s from decent sites.

BT Broadband 8mb (actually 5mb in my area). Think it's around £22.99 a month but it gets added to the phone bill.

6mb usage a month but have been over and not had a problem. Always on as well, never had a problem.
