i've got flash 8 but most of the tutorials are for animations. i just want like a menu where when you scroll over it, it expands etc. so it looks more professional than your frontpage stuff

how can i create my own flash site that i have designed myself without having to use a predefined flash template?

what software can i use to design a layout? my own buttons etc.
