yeah net gear sucks, pci card in pc decides to disconnect all the time for no reason, same as usb dongle in bro's pc.

got rid of them and everything works fine now.

Is it actually that tight? My PCI wireless card is tiny...

You can get ethernet wireless recievers, we use them at home for one of our print servers...

Drill a hole trhough the floor :o

I guess in a normal house wireless is quite usefull cos you don't have to fuck about...

I only think my way because our house was only recently built and has network cableing and cat 5 plugs on every phone socket... Sorry :(

No reason for using wireless apart from the fact you don't need to run any wires :boggle:

My friends have had trouble with them in our old flat, though I have known people to use them with no trouble at all. It mainly depends on the wireless network signal strength. My opinion is on a PC there is no reason what so ever for using wireless as the PC won't move, but I'm just old fasioned...

are they just as good as the PCI ones? as ive got a small form factor case and normal wireless PCIs wount fit it:lol:
