Click View, then List (within control panel)

its not the fact the res is different, its just sometimes you need to re-select the way folders view the files when you dynamically change the res...

You can see that on the right hand side of the screen the text is spilling over. It was never like this beofre :(

looks exactly the same as mine mate lol, thats how mine always looks, res wont go any smaller.

Since I plugged my laptop into my TV it changed the display on the laptop to a much lesser level than before! Now everything is big and it seems like it is being displayed in like 800x600 when it should be at 1024x768!! But it still says its being displayed at 1034x768.

Refresh rate is set at 60hz I think? That right?

Its a Compaq laptp with a ATi Graphics card.

If you want any screen shots or need to know what settings I have stuff at please ask!! Its really pissing me off!!!
