its going to be hungary alight.. it started off worse, and has got slightly better.

They have started a a scheme where microsoft have given resellers an official "Vista Ready" stamp, to any PC that lives up to the required spec of Vista.

(im assuming its hardware dependant and not feature dependant).

Im considering buying the Vista Media center though.

I didnt think it was going to be processor hungry i thought it was meant to be even more efficient than XP (not hard) i wanted to give the beta a trial, was gonna run it as well as XP, see what handles shit the best.

Indeed.

The latest beta release has been way ahead of anything so far.

I think RC1 (release condidate 1) will be the closest thing to the released version.

RC1 will be available in Nov, and expect hundreds of patches to begin with.

Wont be worth getting it straight away. Wait a year or o fr them to sort out all the problems. It's only worth getting if you have the right computer for it too. It's going to be memory and processor intensive. Also, I see no point in getting it for a 32 bit computer as 64 bit computing is the future.
