How much is it likely to be for one of said graphics cards? I'll have a look for a splitter too, see if theres anything around.

You MAY be able to get away with a splitter, but not sure if that will work.

Sounds like im best just swapping the cable from one to another if and when I want to. Thought it would be a case of just buying a cable. Not to worry, thanks for your help

Ideally I'd want whatever is on my PC monitor to be on my TV. Sounds like its gona be more complicated than I first imagined though :(

Ok well if you are only ever going to use one at once you could get a monitor switch box, basically its a little box that you plug both the monitor and TV into and the plug the other end into the PC.

Yep thats the one, so I dont have to keep switching the cable from my monitor to my TV.

You want to run both the monitor and TV off the computer at the same time?

Basically in the back of the TV there is the same blue plug that is in the back of my monitor, but there is only one blue plug in the back of my PC tower which obviously I have my monitor in so need to know where I can plug another cable in to run to my TV.

You mean the monitor gets its power from the PC?

Right got my new TV, now its got the blue plug in the back of it to plug a PC into it. I tried switching the one out the back of my monitor into the TV which worked fine. But obvioulsy my monitor is plugged into the back of my PC so I need another monitor plug or something? Or does it plug in somewhere else. |
