It's not even for me anyway, mine's all hard wired in. It was for a guy at work who wants and easy way to give his 5 & 8 yr old internet access and not need to go in his office :lol:

oh yeah. if you was transferring files from PC to PC would take quite some time.

just to compare, normal hardwire ethernet (cat5e cable) is 100mbps.
most normal wireless applications is usually 110 these days. there is still alot of 54mbps wireless kit around tho.

Basically i'm after some of those network thingies that use your house live wires.

i.e. You plug one of these gadjets into your electricity plug socket in your wall, then you can plug you network cable into it too and it'll transmit the network to any other plug socket in your house.

Anyone know what i'm talking about :boggle:
I'm sure i've seen details on here somewhere before, used the search, but to no avail :(

Also greatful if anyone can point me in the right direction to purcahse some of these babies :thumbs:
