Yeah I got a copy of XP Pro from the "Special Shop" but I want a legit version for my PC! :lol:

if you know what you are doing, then i would go with the special shop ;) And you can use Autopatcher to keep you updated etc

As for vista - will be the biggest pile of steaming toss going considering you need new hardware to take full advantage of it plus the fact that its all locked down with DRM and other protection cack :|

wait and buy vista... seriously.

all new games will be ONLY vista compatible (ok 99% of them). unless you want to waste £80.

Yeah I've been through all the links in the Geek Shop thread and it seems they go for c. £60...

Would an upgrade be cheaper, because I have a legitimate copy of Windows 2000 Professional?
