Denon DHT 500SD. :cool:

No messing around with amps and stuff. Perfect if you want a quick and easy solution. Quality bit of kit as well.

Progressive scan doesn't mean its hd ready.
People always say get a seperates system and i'd be inclined to say the same but soem people just don't need it.
My mum and dad have a sony integrated dvd player/surround sound and they're happy with sound coming from eveeywhere and room shaking bass no matter whether its crystal clear or not.

Get seperate system, much better quality in all departments. You might want to get a Progressive scan DVD player, I think that means it will be HD compatible. I used to be all clued up on tech stuff but not anymore :(

I really haven't a clue about all this stuff; would it be better just getting surround sound and hooking my PC up to my TV. Or buy a DVD home cinema system; if so which one but i don't wanna spend silly money i prob wont us it much:lol:
