Not an acer the ones i have all had stress cracks on the case by the hinges for the screen after a few months of use.

I love toshibas as you know mark. most have harman/kardon speakers now as well.

girlfriends brother wants new laptop... any recommendations? around £500ish inc VAT, preferably not a celeron as they are crap

i was thinking toshiba / acer / asus

any1 any specific recommendations?

i've can get it trade through work so no problem there ;)
