So the ethernet cable from the NTL plugs straight into this?

Moving back home from uni in a couple of weeks and need to get a network set up. My folks have got NTL broadband with an NTL modem.

Should I buy a modem/wireless router to replace this or run an access point from the NTL modem?

Never really had much to do with cable before, always had broadband over the phone here!

Any recommendations?
