Can you not just bodge it by adding a div tag command above the container to center it? not in the css.

i want to center a container div on my site, using CSS, ive followed all the "how to's" i can find and the only one to work is negative margins, but these only work in IE6 and not FF

anyone know how to get round the problem of the conflict?

maybe a detect broswer version? how do i do that in CSS tho?

cheers much appreciated.
