I had W/C in mine and wasn't worth it in the end, you don't know its not working until you smell the chip burning away or alert on your screen. In my case it burnt out my chip as the pump shorted out.

If it's phase change then its worth it really.

its a mixture of both... cpu is phase, gfx card & chipset is water...

got a flow meter going inline with the pump and linked to the chillcontrol, so when the pump stops, it will think the compressor has stalled so will shut itself down.

Don't bother with MSI, had loads of returns on them in the past when I was in the trade.

Asus are probably the best I've dealth with, Gigabyte second, but I've had two of them go bang in quick succession, so not too keen any more.

Summary - Go Asus.

Never had any problems with Asus boards, and quite like the monitoring software that comes with them......just avoid VIA chipsets, like plague.

can anyone reccomend me a really good motherboard and chipset for SocketA Athlon XP? they are all pretty cheap now and still offer great performance.
