Hit No to the erase all songs message box, then it puts the iPod into manual update. Just drag the songs from the library to the iPod's entry in iTunes, then right click and hit Update. It copies those songs and leaves the rest intact.

go to options then ipod and set to manual update files?

Im at my mates house with my ipod, his itunes is linked to his ipod and wanna know is there anyway of putting songs off his pc onto my ipod, everytime i connect the usb cable ask if i want to link up but will erase all my songs, dont want to do that just want to download 15 or so tracks. Any help would be appreciated
