Lol I know Ian, what he's doing is very very illegal and unless somebody sis very bored I doubt they'll want to go through the whole process with somebody who doesn't know what they're doing.
Downloaded discs could also have anything on them.
That would be a very easy way to distribute your trojan imo.

My point was that there's a few things to think about and a few technical things to get right, and for some people buying it is preferable.

Ian - you know you're only saying that because you 'have to' :lol:

My copy is a fully legit *cough* version of XP Corporate and it updates - but only in auto update - not manual.

The disk can be made bootable too.

I usually delete threads about downloading licenced software but I'll keep this one just to say its not as simple as it sounds.

XP CD will need to be made bootable, you also need a reg code to go with it that unless you know where to look for one of them you're going to get a number which is already registered with Microsoft as out in the wild.

Plus you can't use Windows update which depending on build version of your download is either necessary or very necessary.

Basically its easier buying it.

ok just got xp to update my millenium me operating system. wrote it to disc so now i need to update it. can someone give me a step by step of how to do it?:thumbs:
