Yes you can have upto 4 internal hard drives. You will know its compatible because the connector is the same for all parallel hard drives.

If you are running out of space just buy another internal hard drive, far cheaper.

If you've run out of free space then yeah you'll notice a slow down. There would be other things I would check before spending money though, like what can be deleted and what processes are running.

First can be checked with a find for all large files, order by size high to low and see if any big files can go, that'll quickly fix it.

Second right click on the bar and get a task manager and go to processes, should be about 25 in there anything more and you have problems there.

Well my computer is running slower than an 80year old with no legs.

so if i get a portable hard drive will this speed it up? if i put everything onto that?

is there anything i can do to speed it up till i get one?

wheres the cheapest place to get one?

and how do i see whats taking up the most?

cheers
