If the browser is popping up the message, its the browser. If it was arriving slowly, or you got a message in a web page, its upstream. | |

I've tried everything I can think of with the settings, firewall and virus scanning software. No luck... Thats why I thought it could be the ISP... | |

Firefox is the same as Netscape really, so I would imagine same results... I'm just wondering how these settings have been changed :lol: It's a mystery... | |

doesn't sound like ur ISP is up to anything then, u tried the firefox browser? | |

It only happens in IE, Netscape is fine, but I hate Netscape because it takes ages to load up... | |

Impose restrictions on what files you can download in internet explorer. For some reason some restrictions have just started appearing on certain file extensions. I use a custom security level in internet explorer, I use the Windows firewall and I use F-Secure virus scanner. All has worked fine until recently. If I try dowloading anything, even images sometimes, A message appears saying my security settings do not allow me to download this... I am very confused. |
