yeah i know i might have to, but is it possible? been messin about with it for a bit, but the other router wont connect off my computer, duno if it will or not as im not well up on stuff like that

Right ive got a problem, My computer in my room is connected wirelessely from my sisters computer upstairs (hers has wireless router and mine with a network card). Ive just decided i want to get onto Xbox live so i found my old Netgear modem router, now should i be able to plug it into my computer in my room and it get a connection? I've got it plugged in but it doesnt want to do much else.

Basically can i run the internet connection, from my sisters computer upstairs, into mine wirelessly, into another modem/router with wire then into my Xbox?
