make sure the memory is seated properly, my Dad has this problem for ages, and i pointed out that it wasnt clipped in properly.. the fool! | |

yes. As John said download the file to a floppy and there'll be a key you press on boot up which will update the bios. | |

you might want to try updating/flashing the bios to a later version. They may have fixed compatibility issues with certain types of memory. | |
