	NTL/Telewest contracts are 12 months, but you can break out of them if you are moving house (which you will be) and into an area they don't currently serve... (good ole small print ;) )

	The house has a BT line but the area is also served by NTL I'm on NTL at home and been really impressed by it, think the minimum term is 12 months tho :(

	not sure where I read it - but it said 'Soon NTL 10mb will be the standard... merely the different packages will be different bandwidth amounts... so that you can tailor it too how much you need. they said all services will be upgraded by late 2006... but starting with 3mb early in 2006.

	Need to sort out broadband at my new house when I get back to uni. What ISPs offer broadband without a 12 month contract (will only be there until May) and who do you recommend or advise to stay clear of? Cheers :wave:
